What It’s All About

I can’t really remember the first time God put this desire in my heart to start blogging again. It seems like it has been there forever (the couple of blogs I had before were lacking direction and I blame it to my being spontaneous haha!).

Since I was younger, I remember getting high grades in anything that requires writing or words for that matter (the opposite goes with anything with numbers lol). I hate to admit it but once I got so crazy over this boy band in the late 90’s that I even made not just one, but 4 “books” with them and my group of friends that time as the heroes and the damsels (and this is where I cringe! Haha). I remember my English teacher who read it said “You can actually publish these books!” Her words were such an encouragement to a crazy girl like me –even if she was probably just being nice.

In high school, I became part of the school paper as the Feature Editor and though my memory doesn’t allow me to remember much of it, I knew it was one of those things that really helped hone my God-given skills.

I’m not saying I’m an expert, I’m a work in progress just like you. All I know is that I want to use whatever God has given me for the advancement of His Kingdom, even if it’s not perfect. Jesus has done so much in my life and there’s nothing I can do to repay Him.. but that shouldn’t stop me from sharing Him and what He has been doing in my life and perhaps in the lives of the people around me too!

God made everything and He is in everywhere He made. His story is in everyone He created and though it will take an eternity to know the fullness of Him, I’ll tell of some and be His storyteller for now.

This is my blank canvass and I’m gonna let God lead me into painting some beautiful pictures for all to see! šŸ˜Š

Your words are exactly my thoughts and the only reason that I started blogging. I’m hopeful that I will be able to encourage others in Christ! I’m new to this so any help is appreciated:)
